The homeowners desired a series of enhancements, including new retaining walls, a spacious patio, an elegant pergola, and a cozy fire pit area, all tailored to complement their lifestyle and enhance the usability of their garden.
Consultation and Design Concept
During our initial consultation, the homeowners expressed a keen interest in integrating their existing materials into the new design. We decided to repurpose their old brick for a charmingly rustic sailor course. They also needed a solution for their deteriorating walls adjacent to the pool and sought a low-maintenance pergola that would blend seamlessly with the pool deck.
Our landscape design team proposed a sophisticated blueprint that included an irregular New York Bluestone patio, a pristine Heartland Pergola in white vinyl, and strategic fire pit placement for optimal enjoyment.
Project Execution
The execution phase posed challenges, mainly due to the property’s location at the end of a dead-end street, which complicated material staging and access. Nonetheless, our skilled team managed to navigate these obstacles efficiently.
We installed Blu60 mm pavers for the walkways, laid reclaimed red clay bricks as a sailor course, and placed irregular steppers of New York Bluestone to enhance the aesthetic and functional appeal of the landscape.
